Went to a Myriad of Colors: Unveiling the treasures of a special child yesterday. My aunt was one of the incharge people there. we got in free while other people had to pay a hundred bucks. Thats also cos our mum designed their organisation's logo. xD
Gave a short speech.
Learnt about autism, down syndrome and west syndrome.
And saw some nice paintings done by the kids and a world-renown artist Manny Baldemor. Took a pic with him. (:
Then had my caricature drawn. and my silhouette cut out.
Really cool.
The autistic kids are NO DIFFERENT from us. They're just slow to develop. They can lead normal lives. Just cos they have autism doesnt mean they're hopeless. My mom knows someone with down syndrome, she's perfectly fine, they even have nice little chats. These kids can speak in sentences, they can read, they're good in art, they can run around [in fact, they're a little too active xD]. Its so mean that people think autistic kids arent normal. They can be. And they're really cute. (:
I wanted to buy a painting. D: but they're like ranging from 50 to a thousand bucks.

Sigh. My dad's flying off tomorrow.
Tomorrow's the trip to the marina barrage. seven thirty finish.
sigh, cannot go band. xD
good luck, weiting. haha.
Lol. No time to post le. Need to mug science and geog and chinese.
Seeya.
